HP Questions Upon Re-reading: Book 1 Chapter 4 & 5

Was Hagrid’s coat enchanted with Extension Charm or made from the fur of a magical beast? Despite having a huge coat due to his size, it just doesn’t seem possible to stuff a kettle and poker, some food including a box of cake, a living owl, and even some dormice in it. All of them inside different pockets and not stuffing or suffocating the animals.
Was Aunt Petunia notified about the true cause of death for her sister? She described Lily died for being “blown up”, which is far from the truth of falling to the killing curse. The content of the letter that Professor Dumbledore delivered will remain a mystery. We might be better off imagining the facial reaction of the surgeon responsible for removing Dudley’s pigtail and his medical record.

How long was Professor Quirrell teaching actually? In the book, Hagrid mentioned “… He was fine while he was studyin’ outta books but then he took a year off ter get some first-hand experience …”. This paragraph suggested that Professor Quirrell is in his second teaching year during Harry’s first year. Wouldn’t it mean he somehow broke the jinx of “no teacher can teach Defense Against Dark Arts more than a year” despite he shared a body with Voldemort in the second year?

I always have some short questions unanswered re-reading the chapter of visiting Diagon Alley. During Harry and Draco’s encounter, why is Harry’s clothes measurement and purchase faster than Draco even though he came in later? How good is Mr Ollivander’s memory to remember the details of every single wand that he sold and to whom he sold it to? Why are the weird measurements (distance from shoulder to floor, knee to armpit, around the head and even nostrils) required for equipping a wand to the wizard or witch? Does no one notice Hagrid’s disappearance (let us assume that he Disapparated) at the train station given his noticeable size?
