Vieruodis Ethel--A step forward

Once upon a time, there was a girl called Vieruodis Ethel. She was a snow-white girl who had a pair of light purple eyes and bunches of brown straight hair. Unlike other girls, Vieruodis had the ability to foresee everyone’s future except herself. 
很久以前，有个女孩叫Vieruodis Ethel。她肤色苍白，有一双浅紫色的眼睛和一束棕色的直发。与其他女孩不同的是，Vieruodis能预见除了自己所有人的未来。
For example, when we were still discussing who would be the champion of a swimming competition, Vieruodis would frown and leave—she knew who was going to be the winner, so she thought our discussion was extremely boring. “Boring.” is the most frequent word she said. Vieruodis took her job as a seer, who charged people for telling them their futures.

例如，当我们还在讨论谁会是游泳比赛的冠军时，Vieruodis会皱着眉头离开——她知道谁会赢，所以她认为我们的讨论非常无聊。“无聊“是她说得最多的一个词。Vieruodis毕业成为了一名预见家，她的工作是告诉人们他们的未来。
She earned lots of money and was one of the richest persons in the world. However, instead of people’s futures, Vieruodis was more interested in her own future. 
她赚了很多钱，是世界上最富有的人之一。然而，比起了解别人的未来，Vieruodis对自己的未来更感兴趣。
She has already seen many unexpected things that happened in her friends’ futures: her best friend Kristen being a millionaire in the future; while Ben would undergo 3 unhappy marriages in his life. But not for herself: she didn’t have any idea what her future would be like. Would she continue to be a seer? Or maybe something else like an actor? For Vieruodis, her future was like an abyss--so mysterious and steep that she couldn’t see through.

她已经在朋友的未来中看到了许多意想不到的事情: 她最好的朋友克里斯汀将来会成为百万富翁; 而本一生中经历了三次不幸的婚姻。但她并没有像预知别人一样看到自己的未来: 她不知道她的未来会是什么。她还会一直做一个预言家吗？或者是其它的职业，比如演员？
