雨龙峡的夜与泪(The night and tear of the rain dragon canyon)--Chapter 1

However, he found a very terrible secret of The Rain Dragon Canyon, is that people will die after a few days. In order to running away from here, Mark has to find the key and 4 special present. Therefore, he started his adventure with his new friend.

The storm is coming

Finishing saying, he quickly put on clothes and didn’t take an umbrella, regardless of in the back of the his mother’s call, rushed into the wind and rain.

This is the fourth year that his father dead. After his father went to heaven, his mother was totally changed. She always let Mark did many work and set a very strict standard for his grade because he is a excellent student in the school. It seems like his mother doesn’t like him at all. Mark ran into a jungle, the rain soaked his clothes and body, the wind made him feel very cold. He complaint with a full face of tear: “I can’t stand this kind of life!My dad has already gone, my mum always regard me as a tool, there is nobody in this world love me!I want to run away from home!” As he cried and roared hard, the stronger the rain, the stronger the wind. Mark was almost like a drenched chicken. He shivered and sneezed, his brain recalled that there is a warm stove that can allow him avoid the cold in his home, there is a warm bed that can let him made a good sleep. He was a little moved, but he remembered that his mother had asked him to do a lot of work, and was always very strict with him. He also remembered that his father had been in two worlds with him, so he was still very reluctant to go home, and continued to walk deep into the jungle. In the deep place in the forest, it was so dark that he couldn't see anything and couldn't tell directions in the night, so Mark lost his way. From time to time, there are some very chilling sounds of terror went through the jungle. Mark felt very scared, and said loudly: “Help!Somebody!Help me!” of course, in that dark and full of potential danger jungle, it was useless.After wander through the jungle for a few hour, it’s late at night. At this moment, he found that there is a cave in the back of the mountain. He was very happy and ran very fast into the cave.

In the cave was also very dark and Mark thought that he need to create a fire. So, he found some branch and grass and piled them up. Then, he used the stone to friction back and forth. After many times trying, the little flame went to the branch and grass, Mark blew them very carefully. Finally, a bright and warm campfire was set on fire. The fire lit up part of the cave, and Mark could see the surroundings clearly even if he could not reach the depth. He looked at the wind and rain outside and felt a little relieved, because finally he found a place to hide from the wind and rain and warm his body. He decided to dry his clothes, so he found some long branches to build a shelf, took off his coat and put it on the shelf to bake. Looking at the bright flame, Mark felt very happy and free, The feeling of nobody limit him and told him to do many thing makes him feel very well. He felt that his body is warmer. Mark stood where he was, blushing, almost fainting. After all, it's normal for a ten-year-old boy.

Mark went back to his house and looked out of the window at the mountain view. He felt very comfortable. Maybe this is the taste of freedom. He didn't seem to care about his mother's worry about where he went. After playing in the small town for so long, he had to check in to find a house and did so many things that made mark very tired. He ran up to the second floor, opened the shower and took a hot bath. Then he went into his bedroom and fell asleep in his soft bed because of long time trudge in the jungle. After a few minutes, he felt asleep in the cave with a campfire.

First arrival of The Rain Dragon Canyon
After sleeping for a few hours, Mark waked up and saw the environment outside the cave. The wind was still blowing, the rain was still falling, the fragile branches were broken by the storm and flew everywhere. He checked the fire, the fire has been out for a long time, so he was waked by the cold. He thought that maybe he should went back and apologized to his mum, but there was a another thought that It's hard to be so free, so why did him have to go home? Why he had to be constrained by other? He was still very persistent and unwilling to go back.

At this moment, he saw a weird green light came through the deep part of the cave, and the green light disappeared quickly. Then, there was a object that hit his head. Marc was scared and picked up the object that hit his head. That is a token made of Jade.
The token seems little old and had a red tassel in the bottom. However, it was peculiar that there was no words in the token. Mark was so confused about this token and wanted to throw it. Mark felt a little bit scared about that unknown penalty, but he thought that his dad had already dead and his mum didn’t regard him as his son, so the home is not meaningful for him anymore. Just at the moment he put his fingerprint on the token, the weird green light appeared again in the deep part of the cave, and there was a deep voice came from the light:”The entrance of The Rain Dragon Canyon has already opened, welcome, new client! Following the green light and finding the heaven that belong to you!” Mark listened to the voice and walked into the light.

When he passed through the green light, what he saw was not the deep part of the cave, was a lake, and he was standing in front of the another entrance of the cave. The water of the lake was clear to the bottom, the mist was still floating on the surface of the lake, and the nearby mountains and forests were looming , all of these were like fairylands on earth. Mark was fascinated by all of these charming scenery. Just as he was fascinated by the surrounding scenery, a small boat came to him from the middle of the misty lake. The boatman was an old man with wrinkles on his face, a straw hat, a white T-shirt and a pair of shabby slippers on his feet. He waved to Mark as he rowed the boat. The boat came ashore, and the old boatman called Mark with his kindly smile:”Hello, little boy? Are you new here? Welcome to The Rain Dragon Canyon, I’m the boatman here, were responsible to sending the new client to the living town.” Mark saluted him and asked:”Is there The Rain Dragon Canyon?” The old man smiled again, the wrinkles on his face were all stretched out, and said: "yes, this is The Rain Dragon Canyon, a place that can bring freedom and happiness to all people. Can I see your token? " Mark got the token from his pocket and gave it to the old man. The old man checked the token and said:”Okay, please get on the boat, I’ll take you to the residential area.” Mark got on the boat. Then, the old man set out the boat, so the boat leaved the shore and drove into the central place of the lake.

In the boat, Mark asked the old man:”What do you mean the freedom people can get in The Rain Dragon Canyon?” The old man thought for a moment, and he said:”You already know in the token, there was nothing you can’t do because there were no rules and laws at all. You can do anything you want, even you can kill a person and don’t need to be in charge of the thing you do.” Mark still get little confused. The old man said again:”You don't have to ask for many thing because you'll always know. You see, it's almost there.” Mark saw the frontal place.

The boat went through layers of mist, and Mark saw a big waterfall in front of their boat. There was a dam on the waterfall and seems very majestic. There was 3 big words on the dam:”The Rain Dragon Canyon”. Also, There were many mountains on both sides of the dam. Below the mountains were towns. Although the distance is too far to see clearly, the town in the distance seems very peaceful. At this time, the boat almost arrived the dock, and there were many boats berth in the dock silently. The old man hinted Marc to disembark, Mark did it. Before he leaved the dock, the old man called out to him and gave him a small bag. The old man told him that this was the present for him and Mark can’t open it unless he met the moment that his heart is thirst for a place to belong to. 

After disembarking from the boat, Mark went into a ghat. In the road, he tried to open the bag, but he couldn’t open it even though he used all of his strength. Then, he was in the town. In the town, men, women, old and young people came and went, children chased and fought everywhere, men and women were talking and laughing, while the old people were leisurely looking at the scenery on the mountain, which was full of peace. There is a house on the side of the street. Although it looks old, it made people feel very kind. However, Mark found it was weird that most of the people’s body color was lighter than his. “Who was him?The new guy?” “Maybe he didn’t something about there.” Mark felt that someone was talking that kind of words, but he didn’t care about it. In the end, he started to play at the street.

Dear new residents of The Rain Dragon Canyon, please register the token with the administrator here and drink the tea in the copper pot. The administrator will take you to your new house. Then, the administrator on the table gave him a map and asked him to follow the map to find his house. After a while, mark took the map and found his house in a place far away from the town. He looked at his house. His house was next to the mountain. There was a quiet Pavilion on the mountain. The house looked a little old. His name was written on the door: "Mark Douglas". He opened the door and was surprised by the facilities. This is a double-layer house. On the first floor, there is a beautiful chandelier on the ceiling, a transparent table on the ground, and a stove near the wall. Everything is exquisite. He went to the second floor to have a look.
