At that incredulous moment, as Cecy’s level of mental excitement raised itself to a even higher level than ever before, she suddenly realised two things, or maybe realised was not quite right, for, the discoveries flashed through her mind like twin flashes of lightning, momentarily lighting up the sky but vanishing quickly and leaving almost no trace behind. 
One, that she was no longer barefoot. Snow-white boots, delicate, soft and her size, with golden laces elaborately curving into a butterfly knot, now enabled her to walk with ease.
