“Emmerly Karrson,” Karrson responded. “Appreciate your help. We were stuck in a tight spot there. You are the only one here?”
“Oh, no. There are three of us here, one of my colleagues, who is injured, and a scientist, who is tending him now, in the room behind. You guys look pretty professional, all the hazmat suite and all. You guys sent by Giavoni?”
“Quite the opposite, actually,” Emmerich said, leaning against a wall and studying the room. “We are...well, wanted vagabonds to them, actually. We are here to break someone out, but judging by current situation...I am uncertain whether there will be anyone for us to break out should we arrive there. What are those things outside? I have seen plenty of mutants caused by Distortion Radiation, but they do not appear the same to me.”
“That’s because they aren’t the same,” Clark said in his slow and deep voice. “You can ask my scientist friend in there if you want details. If you’re trying to get out, than we might as well group up, cause we got the same goal.” He pointed at a door behind him, which opened just then.
“What’s with all the commotion? Whoa! Where did you guys come from?” A blond-haired man in a dirty lab coat emerged supporting another man in security uniform, quite shocked to see three people suddenly appear.
