One of the ribbon vibrates, and Mami locates the witch. “I cannot feel the exact location of the witch, it could be the form of liquid.” Mami turns her head to Qb and looks pale. Her mind just suddenly goes blanked, and she cannot figure out the appropriate strategy to against the witch.
“Pay attention, Mami! It’s coming!” Qb jumps to Mami’s shoulder and warn her with its toneless voice.
A giant slime-looked creature appears. It is sticky and gross with green-yellow venom spread all around. It is the witch. Without much thinking, Mami attacks it with the one-shot gun. However, when the bullet hits the witch, it melts inside the witch’s body.
“That’s impossible!” Mami cannot believe what just happened before her eyes. There is nothing but blank in her mind. Mami even forget to try other ways to resume attacking.
“Ahhh!” With a shrill screaming, Mami finally pulls herself back to reality. Unfortunately, her body has already been lifted off the ground and surrounded by many thorns. The clear feeling of pain inside every inch of skin obscures Mami’s eyes. Struggling, she tries to use her last conscious to conjure a roll of guns to attack the witch, and use the ribbon to get rid of thorns. However, no matter what method Mami uses, she can neither hurt the witch nor unties herself. Fears start to occupy Mami’s mind. The hopeless feeling makes her wants to give up.
