I wonder if the king is also under the name influence of someone, whether it be a Demoness or something else. He forced his own child to commit suicide and appears to have a hidden agenda. Of course, he could be a red herring...
不知道国王是不是也被某个人影响了，不管是魔女还是别的什么人。他命令自己的孩子自杀，而且似乎还有一些隐藏的谋划。当然，他也可能只是个幌子……

I think its more likely he's in on it. I don't have any compelling reason why I think that, but it would be pretty darn nutty if someone managed to take control of the (likely demigod level) ruler of the biggest kingdom in the world backed by an angel family.
我觉得他更有可能是亲自参与其中的。我现在也没有什么可靠的论据支撑这个想法，但如果有人能操控一个（很有可能有半神级的）背后有天使家族的，世界上最大帝国的统治者，那这可太特么疯狂了

I got a feeling that the king and the royal family are having different agenda. He is showing contemp and angry just to show off while he was smiling due to all these fallen gods fail attempt to descend. If they manage to succeed, he will be a pawn to those gods.
