Pegasus Academy was an average educational facility. It was a private school as were most in The Republic, but it didn't boast any particular call to fame. They didn't have any physical facilities like some of the sports and performance academies might. There weren't any note worthy alumni or possible patrons in the faculty for students to latch on to. During Legion conscription, alumni had a decent chance of earning a career but not a great one. It was overwhelmingly average, but their tuition fees reflected that and as a business it was booming. 

Nonetheless, with such a mediocre school, it was doubtful that any criminal group was targeting them, nor was it likely that poor conditions had led to a mental health crisis. Hence, they wanted a member of the Legion to enter the school undercover and keep their eye on the students to try and find what was causing the suicides. Theories included student violence, abuse by staff, a new untracable drug or some form of duoverse hack or virus that is being tested locally. It was due to the latter that division 505 was flagged as possible responders.
