Going to school in this case doesn't involve actually leaving the house. Rather, I need only use the credentials I was supplied by The Legion to access the school's intranet Duoverse server. But school begins at 8:15, so I have around an hour to kill first. Breakfast, I confirm, ordering my usual from the local ghost kitchen.
It takes 15 minutes, for which my IIs apologize for the delay but assure me the food is waiting outside. A glass of purified water blended with anti-inflammatories to start off. I chug the solution down, imediately following up with a gulp of black coffee. The burn from the acid is remedied by the burn of heat, but atleast my medicine is down and I can take my time with the rest. A full cup of black coffee and high quality protein bar. The biological parts of my body don't require many calories and the Cynet parts have already charged while I slept. The first bite brings a smile to my lips. Chocolate and coconut flavour today. I've been told they taste just like the real thing, not that I have any point of reference.
