夕阳过后,夜晚逐渐拉下了帷幕。手里握着一杯仍散着热气的可可,我和Tom漫步在我们时常走过的街道上,迟迟不愿回到住所。我们在泰晤士河畔的一处长椅上歇脚。安静的坐着,一句话也不说,只剩下彼此的心跳声、呼吸声。因为此刻,除了无声之外,任何的辞藻都是多余的。桥上来往拥挤了形形色色的人:
有些人带着滑稽的面具,阿谀奉承;有些人撕开虚假的面具,缠诉衷肠;有些人,虽然笑着,心里却早已脆弱不堪,嘶哑着的哭喊声被残忍的淹没在了人群中。夜晚似一位法官,用规律、法则,将人类推入生活的深渊。
“Life is hard to go on.” I said.
“活着可真难。”我说。
“It is. Having a chance to be alive is already a tough test when we were struggling to survive without our mother’s nutrition. If I had given up the chance to live, I wouldn’t have you by my side after the past hard time. Whatever happens, always remember that, my love, you are the one, whom I loved yesterday, love right at this second and will undoubtably love tomorrow. Without you, a second could be a suffering.
